So I made my choices for the 2017 Thousand Islands Life Photo Contest. Now you can make yours. Each of these images earned the distinction of "Honorable Mention," but there were tough choices to be made. Here’s your opportunity to see if you would have chosen December’s three winners differently.
In truth, they are all winners, as are we for having them to warm our thoughts with River as winter hits full stride.

Sandy Buerkle's photos show a connection to the river elements only a "native" can experience. Lovely composition and lighting!

I gotta vote for Eric Swanson's Mink Island pic, for reasons of geographic fealty!
"My Favorite Boathouse" is awesome too.

I might have put "My Favorite Boathose" in the top 3, but all are outstanding. I can certainly understand your dilemma.

I am so happy that I have received your attention and appreciation. Words coming from you really are inspiring and motivating. I hope one day I can reach your level of expertise, A great prize suggestion for this contest would be a chance to learn some of your techniques, so us hobbyist can improve.
