Sitting on the waters stone edge throwing twigs in the River aiming rocks at a distant ledge the cooler evening air makes me shiver. Watching the different birds fly by and the bugs dart around I thank God and ask why all can’t be like this Heaven I’ve found. While noticing the waves getting higher and bouncing off an old abandoned tire This answer came to me All is not for us to know now Some day we will see So enjoy and protect the River today. |
